THE ATTIC
Your group have travelled through the jungle and returned to London,
to find Paddington in his attic writing a letter to Aunt Lucy.
Paddington:
You'll never believe it Aunt Lucy, but the most magical thing has happened...
Oh, OH, hello! Please, please do come in. I was just writing to Aunt Lucy to
tell her about the most unexpected surprise. Look!
Would you believe, all these jars of marmalade have arrived from Peru!
And they smell exactly as though Aunt Lucy had made them. But it can't be
Aunt Lucy, because she's in the Home for Retired Bears. So, who else could
possibly have made them?
It was YOU?! Did you really travel all the way to Peru, found Aunt Lucy's
Marmalade Machine and then made me the most delicious marmalade I've
ever tasted?!
Oh my! I'm a very lucky Bear...! Was Peru as beautiful as I remember?
Oh...You were all extraordinarily kind to think of me. But then, each
and every one of you is extraordinary to me. Mrs Brown always says,
"friendship is precious". And she's right. You have made this the best
Marmalade Day ever, for me. Thank you!
Very Happy Marmalade Day to you all! Thank you again everyone!
Oh! Please - hurry down to the street, I don't want you to miss the party!
You'll find all sorts of my favourite treats there. I have to say goodbye.
For now.
I won't be long. I just need to... test one or two more jars...”
